Pic and Mix Images has one single aim: to give the press instant, easy access to high-resolution images and press releases all available in one location 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

This one-stop press resource hosts thousands of high-resolution images and press releases from a wide range of high street brands, boutique retailers and up-and-coming new names in the industry with more great companies coming on board each month.

There is a wide range of product and lifestyle images for journalists to choose from, and every image is print-ready and comes with all the product descriptions, price and stockist information as well as the press contact details.

Press Releases
Press releases are uploaded daily and published in our ‘Press Release archive’, they can even be delivered direct to the journalist’s inbox the moment they are published.

Media Requests
Our ‘Media Request’ service allows the press to contact companies and PRs directly if they are looking for something specific or they need further help with an article.

How it works for the press

Journalists are often working on very tight deadlines and need access to print quality high-resolution images and press releases at very short notice. They often only have hours to file copy and can be working late at night to meet deadlines. This means they don’t always have time to wait hours for companies to send over images only to find that they are not the right size. Pic and Mix Images means they always have instant access to everything they need no matter what time of day or night or however short their deadline is.

How it works for you

When you join Pic and Mix Images you are set up with your own unique link to your dedicated virtual press area, which showcases your company profile, logo, press releases and your high-resolution images. Journalists can access this page through our ‘Company Directory’ on our homepage. You can even use your unique link on your email footer, website or hard copy press releases, so no more missed opportunities when you are out at meetings or away on holiday.

You can access and manage all your images and press releases from anywhere in the world using your dedicated admin area which allows you to add, remove or edit your images and releases at any time.

Images
The key to getting your images into articles is to have easily accessible good quality high-resolution images. Sourcing these images can be a complete nightmare for journalists and they can waste hours of their precious time trying to locate print quality images from PRs.

Every image on Pic and Mix Images is guaranteed to be the exact specification that they need to print in their publication, which is why Pic and Mix Images is often the very first place journalist’s look when compiling their articles.

When journalists are looking for relevant images they can either browse the extensive range of categories and sub-categories from our library or go directly to your dedicated press area through our company directory. There is also a keyword search.

Once journalists have selected all their images they are sent directly to their inbox within seconds - and each image comes with all the product descriptions, prices and stockist information they may need. They are also provided with your press contact details so that they can add you to their PR contact list or request samples for photo shoots when required.

Uploading your images through your admin area is really simple and you can add as much or as little information as you like to go with each image. Once your images are uploaded journalists can access them instantly, meaning no more wasting precious time sending out large attachments and writing up stockist and product descriptions, once your images are in your virtual press office you will never have to worry again.

Every time one of your images is downloaded we send you an email alert. Image download reports can be viewed in your admin area, telling you which image has been downloaded, the journalist’s name, the publication and the publication date, plus the journalist’s contact details.

Press Releases
Journalists are often looking for stories to fill their pages and having everything in one location makes it very easy for them to keep track of the latest breaking news from our industry. Adding a press release through your admin area is simple, you just need to enter in the heading and text and select the images you want to go with the release and we generate a beautiful and professional looking press release for you.

Journalists can access releases through our ‘Press Release archive’ or from your dedicated press area. You can even choose to have your releases delivered directly to their inbox. Every release comes with your selection of accompanying high-res images, giving them everything they need to take the article straight to print.

Media Requests
To increase your press coverage even further you will also receive email alerts, giving you leads directly from journalists. They may be looking for a business owner to interview, quotes for an article or a product to review. Their deadline and contact details are supplied in the alert allowing you to reply directly to the journalist.
