Launched in 2006, Pic and Mix Images is a free-to-use image library for journalists, editors and art directors in the pregnancy, baby and children’s sector.
Dani Knapp, the founder, and her team have one single aim: to to provide the press with instant, easy access to high-resolution images of new products and existing best-sellers from a wide range of high street favourites and up-and-coming new brands.

Before starting Pic and Mix Images in 2006, Dani had already gained extensive PR experience as an in-house and freelancer in the maternity, baby and childrenswear sector – including a year and a half spent running the PR department of a leading online, mail order and high street retailer, as well as playing an integral part in the launch and growth of one of the UK’s fastest-growing and best-loved children’s healthcare brands over 6 years. Then, after a one year solo round the world trip that took her to South America, Australasia and South-East Asia, Dani returned to London to work with some of Britain’s up and coming and leading baby and children’s brands, and began researching and preparing for the launch of Pic and Mix Images.
Dani assembled a hand-picked team of industry specialists for the launch of Pic and Mix Images, and her concept – that Pic and Mix Images will offer a one-stop, one-click solution to replace the confusing and time-consuming business of sourcing product images – has been greeted with great enthusiasm by PRs and a wide range of industry-leading manufacturers as well as journalists, editors and stylists.

Our image library is easy to browse, by specific company or product categories and sub categories, we also have a keyword search facility, and locating and ordering up an image can take as little as thirty seconds – it’s quick and easy to use, and www.picandmiximages.co.uk means you don’t have to spend ages on the phone, waiting all day for a courier, and then wrestling with alien or low-res file formats that never arrive or no-one can open!
Our images are all high-resolution professionally-shot pictures, delivered as RGB jpg files (which can be quickly and easily converted to CMYK format as required). Dani and her team quality-check and upload each image personally, so all you have to do is pick them and click them!

Pic and Mix Images launched with a library of over 2,000 ready-to-use images, provided by more than 50 different companies in the pregnancy, maternity, baby and children's sector – This number has grown to 70 companies, with more coming on board each month.
